Business 13 at Hwy. 82 south of Osceola will close Monday, March 10, until early April to allow contractor crews to relocate a short section of roadway to the west, the Missouri Department of Transportation said. Drivers can use various highways to get around the closing including St. Clair County Hwy. WW and Hwy. 82.
Drivers can expect crews and equipment close to traffic along Hwy. 82 as the Business 13 relocation takes place.
School district officials and emergency responders are being notified so they can make plans to get around the closing.
Business 13 on the west side of the Hwy. 13 will be relocated slightly to the west of where it currently intersects Hwy. 82.
The relocation is necessary to make way for a new interchange being built at the intersection of Hwy. 13 and Hwy. 82 south of Osceola.
Weather and/or construction delays will postpone the closing of Business 13.
