The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 82 requests for assistance this past week, Nov. 8-14. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance Assists 6, Animal Control 10, Assist Other Agencies 18, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 2, All Other Requests for Assistance 46, Summons 7.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On November 9, 2021, officers responded to 404 East Fields Terrace concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of backpacks. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 11, 2021, officers responded to 610 South Main concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Travis A. Dale, 40, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Peace Disturbance, Trespassing and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On November 12, 2021, officers responded to 504 E Fields Trailer D6, concerning a burglary. A suspect has been identified and the investigation continues.

On November 13, 2021, officers responded to 204 East Thompson Street, concerning a burglary.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 13, 2021 officers responded to 115 East U.S 54 Highway, Pitt Stop, concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Matthew J. Richards 31, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs, Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Expired License Plates with a $82.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On November 14, 2021, officers responded to 227 West US 54 Highway, Pete’s, concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a pink poncho. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 14, 2021, officers responded to 329 West Broadway concerning a burglary.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 15, 2021, officers arrested Edmond J. Lavallee, 20, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Exceeded Posted Speed Limit with a $132.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On November 16, 2021, officers arrested Korey L. Wegner, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrants charging him with Larceny with a $351.50 bond, Tampering with a $351.50 bond, Trespass two counts with a $351.50 bond and a Jasper County Warrant for Fail to Appear on the Original Charges of Financial Responsibility with a $250.00 cash bond. He was released pending a court appearance.

On November 18, 2021, officers responded to 302 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. This investigation revealed the theft of a camper trailer. A suspect was identified, a report taken and the investigation continues. 

On November 18, 2021, officers arrested of Justin K. Burns, 31, of Stockton for a Greenfield Municipal Warrant, charging him with Fail to Appear on the original charges of Driving While Revoked with a $250.00 cash bond. He was released to the Greenfield Police Department pending bond and a court appearance.

On November 19, 2021, officers responded to 100 East US 54 Highway, Casey’s General Store, concerning a shoplifting. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Michael J. Smith, 42, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with stealing. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On November 20, 2021, officers responded to 302A South Kirkpatrick Street, concerning a stolen cell phone. A report taken and this investigation continues.

On November 21, 2021, officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle, apartment number 21, concerning a Domestic Assault.  A juvenile suspect was identified and referred to the juvenile office.
