Late Thursday afternoon, the snagging spots at the Taberville bridge were mostly empty and there were no spoonbills tied out along the bank. Boats coming into the boat ramp had no spoonbills alongside. Over the weekend, the action picked up a little. Still, most spoonbills were downriver beginning at Roscoe and Osceola. Cold water and air temperatures discouraged spoonbills from making their mass run up the river.
