Law enforcement activities
The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 73 requests for assistance this past week, March 7-13. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 8, Animal Control 4, Assist Other Agencies 8, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 12, All Other Requests for Assistance 40, Summons 9.

Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report
On March 7, 2022, officers responded to 610 South Main concerning a Domestic Assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Misty M. Ruston, 41, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On March 8, 2022 officers responded to 425 South Main concerning burning of solid waste. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jason L Trammel, 43, of El Dorado Springs, for a Henry County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Driving While Suspended with a $2,500.00 bond. He was released to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for transferred to the Henry County Jail.

On March 8, 2022, officers responded to 313 West Carman Road concerning a Domestic Assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Wendy K. Hoss, 39, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with Domestic Assault 3rd Degree. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On March 10, 222, officers responded to 910 South Grand Street concerning a Domestic Assault. Suspects had been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 10, 2022 officers responded to 217 West US 54 Highway concerning a fugitive from justice. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tristin A. Reed, 20, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Resisting Arrest with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On 11 March 2022, officers arrested James B. Shifflett, 34, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Nuisance Violations with an $82.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On March 12, 2022, officers responded to 401 North Main concerning an assault. A suspect has been identified, report taken and the investigation continues.
