El Dorado vs. Buffalo

An exceptional effort by Spencer Young spurred the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs to a 9-0 win in seven innings over Buffalo on Monday at El Dorado Springs. Spencer struck out 14, paving the way for the Bulldogs’ win. The Bulldog pitcher gave up just one hit over six shutout innings.

The Bulldogs blew out Buffalo thanks to 11 hits, including three extra base hits. El Dorado Springs scored four runs in the fourth on a two-run error, an RBI single by Dayton Austin and an RBI single by Riley Boyd. James Dubois was solid at the plate for the El Dorado. James went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and sixth innings. The Bulldogs didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when they scored on an RBI double by Jacob Holder and an RBI single by James.
