MS track concludes season at home

The El Dorado Springs Middle School track team concluded their season on April 28 at home.

In the 8th grade boys division, Chris Reddick finished fourth in the 1,600 meter run. Gavin Reed finished fifth in the shot put and sixth in the discus. The 4×100 meter relay team of Chance Koger, Wyatt Foster, Trenton Hardieand and Tristton Minehardt finished fifth. The 4×200 meter relay team of Trenton Hardie, Chance Koger, Cody Rutledge and Austin Henson finished sixth.

In the 8th grade girls division, Ashley Knoll finished second in the 800 and 1,600 meter runs. Kayla Collins finished second in the shot put and fourth in the discus. Ashley Colbert finished fourth in the 100 meter dash. Tiffany Nikodim finished fourth in the shot put. The 4×400 meter relay team of Ashley Colbert, Ashley Knoll, Kennedi Murdock and Khara Burley finished third.

In the 7th grade boys division, Dagan McIntire finished first in the 400 meter dash, second in the 200 meter dash and fourth in the 100 meter dash. Skyler Ricci finished first in the shot put and sixth in the 200 meter dash. Traven Buxton finished fifth in the high jump. The 4×100 meter relay team of Justin Ellison, Keilan Jaques, Skyler Ricci and Traven Buxton finished fourth.

In the 7th grade girls division, Tori Rawlings finished first in the 200 meter dash and fourth in the 100 meter dash. Brittany Stevens finished fifth in the 400 meter dash. The 4×400 meter relay team of Tori Rawlings, Brittany Stevens, Taylor Robison and Jace Cundiff finished fifth.

Coach Tonya Hooper and Coach Justin Stratton would like to thank the parents for their support throughout the season. They would also like to thank the El Dorado Springs Athletic Booster Club for providing the BBQ meat and buns for the hospitality room at the El Dorado Relays.

FIRE IN THE HOLE – Dagan McIntire gets a good start in the 100 meter dash as Gary Benham fires the starting pistol. In the 7th grade boys division, Dagan McIntire finished first in the 400 meter dash, second in the 200 meter dash and fourth in the 100 meter dash.

JUST SAY HIGH – Taylor Robison, 7th grade, tries the high jump. She didn’t advance but the 4×400 meter relay team of Tori Rawlings, Brittany Stevens, Taylor Robison and Jace Cundiff finished fifth.
