4th GRADE ECS ART WINNERS – Brenton LeeMasters and Eli Daniel, third graders at ECS, received awards at the 2014 ASCI Art Finals in Lee’s Summit, on April 4. Brenton (left) received excellent ratings for his painting titled, “Pike’s Peak” and his marker drawing titled, “God Bless Our Troops.” Eli received an excellent rating for his pencil drawing titled, “Old Majestic” and a superior rating for his marker drawing titled, “Uncle Shannon’s Plane.” Pictured with the boys is Mrs. Susan Dingman, ECS Art teacher.

FIFTH GRADE ECS ART WINNERS – Jordanne Steuck and Isabelle Bryson, fifth graders at ECS, received awards at the ASCI Art Finals in Lee’s Summit on Friday, April 4. Jordanne (left) received a bronze medal and superior rating for her colored pencil drawing titled, “God’s Eternal Love” and a bronze medal and superior rating for her clay sculpture titled, “My Father’s Tree.” Isabelle Bryson received an excellent rating for her oil pastel drawing titled, “Autumn Joy,” and an excellent rating for her painting titled, “Grandma Peggy’s Garden.” Pictured with the girls is Mrs. Susan Dingman, Art teacher at ECS.

SIXTH GRADE ECS ART WINNERS – El Dorado Christian competed in the 2014 ACSI Art Finals at Lee’s Summit Christian Academy on Friday, April 4. Sixth graders Lanie Collins (left) and Finley Keen were awarded the following: Lanie received a gold medal and superior rating for her pencil drawing, “My American Pride,” and a superior rating for her pointillism drawing in markers titled, “A Twist in Time.” Finley received an excellent rating on her oil pastel, “Streak of Time” and a good rating for her painting, “Blazing Dreams.”
