Why? This is an individual skills and fundamental camp. The varsity coaching staff believes that elementary and middle school is the most essential time to learn the fundamentals of this game. These four days are put on by varsity coaches and players in order to provide instruction in a fun, interactive and learning environment. If your son or daughter is interested in playing basketball next year, we encourage them to not only be a part of our camp but to play every chance they get this summer. Successful programs provide opportunities for students year round. We understand that this is not only a commitment in time and effort, but sometimes a strain financially. We try to provide the opportunities that benefit your sons and daughters the most, for the least amount of money. Most individual skills camps put on in colleges are setup like ours, and have enough gall to charge between $250-$650 for the same amount of instruction, not including travel expenses. We’ve setup this camp cost effectively and to coincide with summer school in order to encourage all students to participate who would like to. Just fill out and return the order form ASAP as spots unfortunately are going to be limited.
If you are interested in learning how your son or daughter can participate in more basketball activities this summer, great, we encourage that. Please do not hesitate to call, text or email me to find out how. There are several leagues and places to play if you are willing to travel.
Parents are welcome to come in and watch our summer camps, but encouraged to remain respectful during instruction time. I’m looking for coaches and referees for next year’s winter basketball league. We need your help. Let’s continue the pride and excellence of our community, town, school and athletic programs. Thank you for the opportunities to work with your sons and daughters every day. It truly is a blessing to be able to do what we do, and it happens because of parents like you.
