Shauna Elliott, 58, El Dorado Springs, passed away June 14, 2014, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Shauna Lea Beason was born July 17, 1955, the first of twin daughters born to Leonard “Junior” Beason and Joyce Whitesell.
Shauna attended schools in El Dorado Springs and graduated in 1973. She was employed at the International Shoe factory and then at Dunbrooke Sportswear for several years.
On July 7, 1978, Shauna became the wife of Owen Elliott. They enjoyed almost 36 years of marriage.
Shauna was a wonderful cook, taking pride in preparing meals for her family and friends. She bowled for many years. Even after she could not bowl herself, she would watch others, either on TV or at the bowling alley.
Shauna was a great source of support for her family and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Shauna was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard “Junior” Beason and Joyce O’Neal; her twin sister, Kauna Lynn Gerster; her grandparents, Lloyd and Wilda Whitesell; and her uncle, Darrel Whitesell.
Shauna is survived by her husband, Owen; her daughter, Angi Cluck, and husband, Scott; two grandchildren, Kausha and Blake Cluck; two aunts, June White and husband, Wayne and Diana Hamilton and husband, Sam; one niece, Autumn Gerster; one nephew, Kade Gerster, and wife, Kasee; one great-nephew, Reed Gerster; her stepmother, Betty Beason – all of El Dorado Springs; several cousins; and many, many friends.
Services began at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, in the El Dorado Springs Church of God (Holiness). Rev. Joe Trussell and Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Burial followed in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Calvin Keith, Russ Hayes, Mark Beason, Darrell Gerster, Bob Floyd and Jarrod Schierek. Honorary pallbearers were Bennie Livengood, Scott Cluck, Blake Cluck, Wayne White, Sam Hamilton and Kade Gerster.
