EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

July 7 – Arrest: Wendy Volb, 48, El Dorado Springs, on the probable cause of tampering with a witness/victim. Officers applied for and received a Cedar County warrant, charging her with four counts of tampering with a victim/witness or attempt tampering w/victim in a felony prosecution with a $50,000 cash or surety bond. She was extradited to Cedar County pending bond or court appearance.

Officers responded to 310 South Park concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a white Next bicycle and a silver 4 foot by 3 foot dog kennel.

July 8 – Officers responded to the 109 North High concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of prescription medication. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Arrests: Julia N. Brown, 35, Stockton, on an active Cedar County probation violation warrant with no bond. She was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office.

Landon J. Daniel, 26,El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging him with probation violation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with no bond. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending a court appearance.

Boyd T. Culbertson, 19, El Dorado Springs, charging him with minor in possession of alcoholic beverage. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 312 West 54 Hwy, concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the theft of several prescription medications.

July 9 – Arrest: Joseph G. McMannis, 34, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging him with possession with the intent to distribute, keeping public nuisance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $25,000. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearance. Officers also applied for and received a Cedar Count warrant charging him with resisting arrest for a felony, possession of controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of an illegal weapon with a cash or surety bond of $75,000.

July 10 – Officers responded to 203 East Pine , concerning a reported larceny of a bicycle. Investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 804 South Grand, concerning a reported larceny of a bicycle. Investigation revealed the theft of a pink 20 inch Kent bicycle and a pink bicycle, unknown make or model, with white tires.

Officers responded to 1500 block of South 32 Hwy, concerning a reported domestic assault. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Michael W. Kenagy, 40, Nevada, on the probable cause of domestic assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

July 11 – Officers responded to 1201 East Patricia concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a green nylon wallet containing $40 cash. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

July 13 – Officer responded to 300 East Gentry concerning a reported robbery. Investigation revealed the theft of $100 cash. Suspects have been identified and investigation continuing.
