by Julia Snethen & Marge Zink

Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was conducted by Pastor Linda Wansing.  You are always welcome to join us for worship Sunday at 9 a.m. and Bible study Tuesday morning 9 a.m.

Mt. Zion area is enjoying cooler weather. Had a nice rain this past week, also a few snowflakes. Deer hunters are enjoying the cooler weather, heard lots of gunshots.

Tri-County Quilt Club met in the Margie Siegismund home Monday with 17 ladies enjoying lunch and Margie’s demonstration on making a rag rug on her loon. After watching all the time and work that goes into making those rugs, you appreciate them a lot more.

Had a phone call from Beverly and Tom Pelkey, they are doing fine.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is one happy dog; she got her wish. she made real snow angels early before the snow was gone. I told her there was lots of frost one morning she could enjoy that. Robin and Mabel have enjoyed the little people visiting.

Marge Zink thinks there will probably be a kleenex shortage as she has used three boxes and still counting to keep up with her cold. She was tested for Covid, not that. The phone is working, and she hasn’t felt like using it, so short of news.

John and Julia Snethen had a nice week with John running his bus route and Julia keeping her hair and doctor’s appointments and doing honey-do errands. But ,she is a little confused, she always thought that was the husband’s job…guess not.
