Margie Siegismund and Cleta McEwan enjoyed the dinner theater in Kansas City recently.

June Marshall kept her eye appointment and is seeing better, painting in the art room for somebody's present.
Dixie and Howard attended the Wilson Company picnic Sunday in Kansas City.

Mt. Zion Club met in the Marge Zink home July 16, for an all-day meeting. Nine ladies enjoyed the day tacking lap robes and tearing rags for rugs. After a bountiful carry-in lunch, business was taken care of. Julia gave the secretary's report and Beverly gave the treasurer's report. Club donated nap quilts to the Rich Hill Library in Rich Hill. Made a monetary donation to decorate undecorated graves. They played blind prize bingo, it was an enjoyable day and the weather was beautiful. We will meet Aug. 20, in the home of Joela Dains for the 91st Mt. Zion Club birthday; Joela's birthday is in August.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey's outing this week was breakfast and shopping in Clinton. Sheri Suster visited Beverly Saturday afternoon.
There is a new house being built next to Deer Run Campgrounds, but haven’t met the new owner.
Julia Snethen made a trip to Kansas City to have lunch with Shella Akers and pick up the dogs so they could visit the farm for a few days.
