Connie Locke was an overnight guest in the home of her father, Ben Locke, at Nevada Wednesday, July 16.

John Burton and family of Oklahoma spent a few days in the home of his grandmother, Frances Lewis, visiting relatives in the area.

Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, July 20 were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien, Frances Lewis, Gary and Gayle Dunn.

Frances Lewis and her cousin, Bob Roe, and Bob’s friends, the Bishops, of El Dorado Springs, had lunch at Madalyn’s Kitchen Friday, July 18.

Ruth Ijams’s daughter and husband, Ed and Mary Henderson, of Texas took her to a family reunion at Leeton Sunday, July 20.

Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, July 20. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon, “Being on The Wanted List” was taken from Genesis 28:10-19, Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Overcoming Temptation,” taken from I Corinthians 10:9-22.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, July 20. Jon Caudle Sr. and Jon Caudle Jr. had the sermon, “Communion,” taken from John 13:1-31. Communion was held during the service.

Several from the area attended the El Dorado Springs Picnic this past week.
