Tory Beth Janes Richards

Tory Beth Janes Richards, 30, passed away on Nov. 27, 2022 Tory was born on Feb. 4, 1992 to Mary Janes Martin and Troy Janes in El Dorado Springs.

Tory grew up in El Dorado Springs. Tory met her husband, Matthew, in High School and soon added to their lives a daughter, the sweet Norah.

Tory attended Church of God Holiness where she served God in many ways including, holding babies in the nursery and teaching fifth graders. She loved telling them about her Savior and how they could live for him. Tory had a lovely singing voice and enjoyed singing in her free time and participating in the worship band at church. While Norah was a baby, Tory served in a local organization called Mothers of Preschoolers, and helped area moms make friends with each other. She loved to invest in ladies to help them see how important of a job motherhood is. Tory loved baking. She made delicious banana bread and cupcakes. She enjoyed serving those she loved by cooking for them. Tory also enjoyed playing board games with the family.

Tory is survived by her husband, Matthew Richards, and daughter, Norah Richards – El Dorado Springs; father, Troy Janes; mother, Mary Janes Martin, and husband Don; sisters, Linda Shifflett, Rayann Shifflett and husband, Chris Campbell, Lacey Rhoades and Dustin Rhoades all of El Dorado Springs; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
