Mt. Zion Home Bible study held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home had nine in attendance to study the Bible; we are studying I Timothy. You are welcome to join us.
Our sympathy to the Eula Manser family, services were held Saturday and to the Bob Salmon family in the passing of his mother.
The Mt. Zion area is in need of rain; but the gardens are still producing tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, green beans, okra and peppers. We are eating well.
June Marshall has rested up from her trip to Florida; she has been shopping in Clinton and El Dorado Springs and finishing some art projects.
Those who helped celebrate Stanley Zink's 81st birthday Sunday were Betty and Larry Teel of Springfield, Wanda Speake of Fair Grove, Mike and Stacy Griffith of Blairstown, Clyde, Josephine and Brenda Peterson of Richmond, Howard and Dixie Peterson, Charles and Coralee Miller, Tom and Beverly Pelkey. Clyde will celebrate his birthday Thursday.
Recent visitor in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home was Mark Crawford in his new truck.
Julia Snethen took Rex and Taylor (Shella's labs) home on Saturday to Kansas City and visited with Shella for a while then returned home. Sunday, Carrie Brooks brought her babies over for Julia and John to babysit while Carrie is working.
