Text Caster
Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.
Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications
We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 4 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of January 4th, 2023 through January 11th, 2023.
Greve, Ryan- On January 6, 2023 Ryan was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Assault 1st, Burglary 2nd, Assault 3rd. The total bond was set at $65,000 cash only.
Tindle, Aubrey- On January 9, 2023, Aubrey was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Fishing Without A Permit. The bond was set at $117 cash only.
Keith, Franklin- On January 10, 2023, Franklin was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Domestic Assault 3rd, and Property Damage. The bond was set at $5,000 cash only.
Peltier, Deven- On January 11, 2023, Deven was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Hickory County warrant for FTA Order of Protection Violation. There was No Bond-to be set at court.
Thomas, Sabastian- On January 11, 2023, Sabastian was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Clinton Police Department warrant for FTA. The bond was set at $1,000 cash only.

Arrests
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 3 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of January 12, 2023 through January 19th, 2023.
Daniels, Brandon- On January 12, 2023, Brandon was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Stalking 1st Degree. The bond was set at $1,000 cash or surety.
Wilson, Joesph- On January 16, 2023, Joesph was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession Drug Paraphernalia. The bond was set at $5,000 cash only.
Brown, Charlotte- On January 19, 2023, Charlotte was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Careless and Imprudent Driving and Resisting Arrest. Deputies were dispatched to a reckless driver an investigation was conducted. Charlotte was arrested pending formal charges.
