Jamin Wade Beard

Our beloved son Jamin Wade Beard, 20, went to be with Christ Sunday afternoon. He and his brother were in a situation where one had to make a choice for the sake of the other. After talking with his brother, Jamin made the decision. John 15:13. His parents, Dr Scott and Wendy Beard; brothers, Elim, Jaren and Euell; living grandparents, Dr Rodney and Mary Beard as well as so many devastated cousins, family and friends miss him beyond words. Jamin was proceeded to the Lord by his Papaw and Memaw -Bob and Nancy Goodwyn.
First and foremost, Jamin loved Christ and was striving to serve Him and bear trials that were upon his life with grace. He was growing so fast through trying and patience in the Lord. He wanted so much to be a help to those who were still in the bondage of a place we had finally gotten out of six months earlier. His devotion in his Bible time that morning was convicting him that his trials would help others out of the same.
Second, Jamin loved family and friends. He showed himself friendly and had touched so many lives. From those, age 2 to 92, he was always friendly. Even as a four-year-old he would seek out the loneliest person in a room and go share stories with them.
Third, Jamin loved sharing and he loved snacks. He always had hidden reserves of snacks even when he thought he didn’t. Jamin wanted to make sure you had snacks as well! He wanted to help you with whatever you might be working on and would put in long hours to do so.
Jamin loved first responders and enjoyed his ride-a-longs. He and his brothers, Elim and Jaren, worked alongside each other in his business and helping each other and many more.
We will have memorial services in Lovington, NM, at First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.
Service in Nevada, at Bible Baptist Church at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Thank you all for your love for our son and prayers for those he loved. Thank you to all of those who help in times of tragedy.
