Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of August 8, 2023 through August 14, 2023

August 8, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 301 Road in Lowry City regarding property damage. Report taken.

August 8, 2023- St. Clair County deputies conducted a traffic stop on C Highway and Northwest 751 Road. Traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Bryan Ford for an out of state warrant out of Polk County Wisconsin.

August 8, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to West 2nd Street in Appleton City for a report of Domestic Assault. Deputies arrested Virgil Burroughs on charges of Domestic Assault=1st Degree-Serious Physical Injury and Resisting/Interfering with Arrest for a Felony.

August 9, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Business 13 Highway and 750 Road for an abandoned vehicle. 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe with Kansas registration was marked for tow on August 7th by a St. Clair County deputy. Vehicle was towed from scene.

August 9, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Ronni Clark at the Vernon County Jail on a St. Clair County warrant for Tampering with Motor Vehicle. Bond is $25,000 cash only.

August 9, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Ashley Gannaway on an Osceola Police Department warrant for Assault- 4th Special Victim. Bond is $5,000 cash surety.

August 11, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Tindall Street in Lowry City for a 9-1-1 hangup call. Call was made by juvenile. Report made and forwarded to juvenile office.

August 11, 2023-St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest 301 Road in Lowry City for a report of a dog bite. Dog is up to date on shots and is in quarantine. Report taken.

August 11, 2023- St. Clair County deputies served Virgil Burroughs multiple St. Clair County warrants in Henry County. His warrants are for Harassment-1st, Domestic Assault-2nd, Endangering the welfare of a child-1st, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Domestic Assault-4th, Resisting Arrest. Total bond is $40,000 cash only.

August 11, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest 178 Road in Osceola in regards to child custody agreement. Subject had a Lees Summit warrant for Fail to Appear on Driving While Revoked/Suspended. St. Clair County deputies arrested Britanni Butler on her Lees Summit warrant. Her bond is $2,000 cash surety.

August 11, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 801 Road in Collins for a report of an abandoned vehicle. Vehicle is a black 2007 Saturn Ion. Car marked for 24-hour removal.

August 11, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 477 Road in Osceola in regards to a report of subjects arguing on their property. Report taken.

August 11, 2023- St. Clair County deputies conducted a traffic stop on Southbound 13 Highway and Northeast 50 Road in Osceola. Stop resulted in the arrest of Kimberly Barker. Kimberly is being charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

August 12, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 800 Road in Lowry City in regards to property damage. Report was taken.

August 12, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 801 Road in Collins for a report of an abandoned vehicle. Vehicle is a black 2007 Saturn Ion. Vehicle was towed from the location.

August 12, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to 4th Street in Osceola for suspicious activity. Subject was located and questioned. Report was taken.

August 13, 2023- St. Clair County deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Southbound 13. Subject was at high rate of speed and entered into Polk County before they stopped. David Kemp Jr. was arrested and charged with Operating Vehicle on Highway without a Valid License-1st Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle in a Careless and Imprudent Manner, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child Creating Substantial Risk-1st Degree.

August 13, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Goodrich Drive in Osceola to assist another agency in receiving stole property. Property was located and returned and case information was forwarded to Osceola Police Department.

August 14, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 601 Road in Osceola for a domestic disturbance. Viviana Thomas is being charged with Domestic Assault-3rd Degree.

August 14, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to a wrecked vehicle on J Highway. No subjects located at the accident.

August 14, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast Private Road in Lowry City for a report of theft. The items stolen were one French door, three single doors, two sinks, one toilet, one water heater, one furnace, a bathtub, and other household items. Report was taken.
