ECS Volleyball comes to a close

The junior high volleyball season has come to a close. The JH girls went to their conference tournament on Oct. 14, at Buck Run Community Center in Fort Scott, KS. They finished the day with 2nd place in both the tournament and conference. Alayna Gingerich stated, “I feel like we worked well together as a team. My favorite part of the day was the van ride over because we were getting each other pumped up for the games.”

Grace Hubbard said that her favorite part of the day was when they dominated the Bethel Llamas. Three of our JH girls earned personal awards. Second team all tournament winners were 5th grader Kate Hubbard and 6th grader Ashlynn Judd. First team all tournament winner was 8th grader Alayna Gingerich. Both Kate and Ashlynn were happily surprised to have earned an award. Congratulations, ladies, on your awards and for an amazing season.
