New officers were appointed to the OATS, Inc. Board of Directors at their meeting on September 26th. Darleen Rapp of St. Louis was elected President. She began her reign immediately to replace outgoing President Scott Kosky, who stepped down as President for personal reasons but will continue to serve on the Board.

Rapp joined the OATS, Inc. Board in January 2018. She was a former teacher for Mehlville School District and spent more than 30 years in the education field. She volunteers her time with the Mehlville Retired Educators program, as well as education programs at St. Johns United Church of Christ. She holds both Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Elementary Education. Darleen said serving on the Board of Directors is her way of giving back to her community.

Tammy Nadler of Clinton MO was elected as Vice-President, and Jeff Leeman of Sedalia was appointed to Secretary/Treasurer. Nadler and Leeman both joined the OATS, Inc. Board of Directors in March 2020. Nadler is the Chief Finance Officer at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare and has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Leeman is a Certified Network Engineer who owned and operated JL Computer Technologies until he retired in 2008. He was a former Councilman for the City of Sedalia, a long-time member of the Midwest Regional Bank Board of Directors and served is the US Air Force.

OATS, Inc. (dba OATS Transit) is a 501c3 corporation and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors from around the state of Missouri. The company specializes in transportation for senior citizens, people with disabilities and the rural general public of any age. The organization serves 87 Missouri counties with a staff of 575 employees. Last year the company provided more than one million trips to Missourians.
