The family of Jay D. Dains acknowledges with deep appreciation your kind expressions of sympathy through the sending of cards, messages, prayers, phone calls, flowers, memorials, and attendance at the services.

The services of Pastor Jack Daniels, Pastor Kenny Batson, and Fred Bouchard at the funeral, were much appreciated.

A huge thank you to the ladies of the First Christian Church of El Dorado Springs and Pape Christian Church for preparing and serving the meal for the family.

Thank you to the Clinton American Legion Chapter for the moving military service at the cemetery, Sheldon Funeral Home of El Dorado Springs for managing the funeral, and Appleton City Nursing Home, where Jay spent the last ten months of his life.

And finally, a heartfelt word of thanks and appreciation to the men and women of ProMedica. Their visits, care and medical attention were simply the best. We are blessed to have them in our area.
