On Saturday, Nov. 25, at 5:30 p.m. an assistant chief was dispatched to a residence in St. Clair Co. to check out a possible carbon monoxide alarm sounding. No problem was found.

On Monday, Nov. 27, at 12:43 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a grass fire on N. Summer St. One truck and 13 firefighters responded.

On Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 12:21 a.m. the fire chief responded to a residence on W. Joe Davis for a reported problem with a furnace. Situation was handled by the chief.

Later that morning at 2:13 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a dumpster fire at E. Joe Davis and Park. Two trucks and four firefighters responded.

That afternoon at 12:53 p.m.  The department was dispatched to a large garage fire on S. 311 Rd. Five trucks and 14 firefighters responded.

On Thursday, Nov. 30, at 5:59 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a two- vehicle accident on S. Hwy 32 in the city for traffic control. Two trucks and 10 firefighters responded.
