Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Textcaster available!

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of January 9, 2024 through January 15, 2024

January 9, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 1000 Road, Lowry City, for a report of noise complaint. Suspect was riding a 4-wheeler up and down county road without a license. Suspect was given a citation for Driving on a County Road Without a Valid License.

January 9, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 701 Road, Collins, in regards to a stolen vehicle. Vehicle is a 2003 Pontiac Vibe and was taken without permission. **Update** Vehicle was recovered.

January 9, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Donald Terry at the Pettis County Jail on a St. Clair County warrant for Failure to Appear-Non-Support. Bond is $1,000 cash only.

January 9, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 201 Rd and Highway 13 to assist another agency. MoDOT was preparing for the weather and located a white 2005 Ford F-150 truck abandoned on the right shoulder. Vehicle was towed.

January 10, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 101 Road, Osceola, for a deceased subject. Subjects’ death was not suspicious. Released to Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home.

January 10, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 550 Road, Weaubleau, for a missing person. Deputies, Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers, first responders, and family friends searched the property for the subject. Subject was later found deceased.

January 10, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to South Hickory Street in Appleton City for a runaway juvenile. Juvenile returned home before deputies arrived on scene. The Juvenile Officer was contacted and advised of the situation.

January 10, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest 151 Road, Lowry City, for a suspicious vehicle. White flatbed Ford F350 was located on reporting parties’ property. After a search around the property buildings, no one was located and the vehicle was towed.

January 10, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest 50 Road, Osceola, for a report of a death. Subject was found lying on the ground outside. Subjects’ death was not suspicious.

January 11, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 1151 Road, Collins, for a report of animal neglect. Report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

January 11, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Stephanie Lynch at the El Dorado Springs Police Department on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond is $15,000 cash surety.

January 11, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southwest Highway H, El Dorado Springs, for property damage.  Driver went through several “t” posts and 5 strands of barbed wire fencing. Report was taken.

January 12, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Tammy Davis on two Henry County warrants for Failure to Appear- No Insurance and Failure to Appear- Failure to Register, and three Benton County warrants for Failure to Appear-Failure to Register, Failure to Appear-Moving Traffic Violation, and Failure to Appear- Moving Traffic Violation.

January 12, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 1147 Road, Osceola, for a report of property damage. Deputies took a report on damages to mailboxes. Investigation is ongoing.

January 12, 2024- St. Clair County deputies took a report at the Sheriff’s Office regarding a stolen RV. RV was recovered and is being held for investigation.

January 13, 2024- St. Clair County deputies met Polk County deputies at the county line for a transfer of custody. Kristapher Kern was arrested by Polk County deputies on two St. Clair County warrants for Operating a Vehicle Without a Valid License and Exceeded the Posted Speed Limit by 25 MPH. Bond is $732 cash only.

January 13, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest 150 Pvt Road, Osceola, for a domestic disturbance. Travis Self was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault-2nd Degree.

January 13, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City for a report of a dog bite. Juvenile was attacked by the family dog and had several dog bites on her face. Juvenile was transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital.

January 14, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast Highway TT for a report of juvenile sexual assault that happened in another county. Deputies took a report and contacted Hickory County Children’s Division along with Hickory County Deputies. Report was forwarded to Hickory County.
