El Dorado Springs Community Foundation awards $13,500 to local groups to support the El Dorado Springs community.  There were 18 grant applications totaling almost $60,000 received for the 2023 Annual El Dorado Springs Community Foundation Grant Round.  Applications were reviewed considering their impact on the El Dorado Springs community and its citizens.  In an effort to spread funds as far as possible and touching as many needs and individuals as possible, the following grant applications were selected for funding and/or partial funding:

• Dyslexia Simulation Kit – $   159

• Elementary Library Books – $1,790

• Birdie Barracks – $   750

• El Dorado Christian School

• New Classroom Microscopes – $1,564.75

• Preserve Our Past Society

• Museum Revitalization – $   750

• Historical Hysteria Event – $   500

• Nine Wonders Optimist Club

• Playground Equipment – $2,000

• El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce

• City Sidewalk Project – $1,000

• Wings Refuge

• Security Camera System – $   500

• Cedar County Library – El Dorado Springs Branch

• Laptops for technology learning labs – $2,000
