We said our TOPS & KOPS Pledges

Warren led us in roll call; 21 members weighed in. The chapter had a loss of 11.8 lbs. and a gain of 8.6 which gave us a net loss of 3.2 lbs.

Best Loser for the week was Pat with a 3.6 loss, Congratulations Pat.

Laura had the program today. She talked about “Vision Boards.” She uses Vision Boards to set goals and plan how to achieve those goals and give her a “vision” of her progress towards those goals. Laura has done a great job in setting a goal and achieving that goal. Since joining TOPS Laura has lost over 100 pounds and 100 inches. Her board includes photos of her as a teen, her years in the Army, and so on. She has photos of her weight loss journey starting with a photo of her at her highest weight of over 300 pounds. She has even included in her vision board a drawing of herself in inches as she lost the weight. She added a chart about FAT and how harmful it is to your body and how many calories in a serving of fat.

She said it has helped her to be active and this vision board is something that made her happy to put together as she lost the weight. Laura said Vision Boards not only are used for weight loss. Some people use them for planning a big trip. Some use them for financial planning. If you are a visual person this is the thing for you.

Laura also brought several self-help books on weight loss to share with the members.

LAURA’S JOURNEY – Laura uses Vision Boards to set goals and plan how to achieve those goals and give her a “vision” of her progress towards those goals. She has lost oer 100 lbs. and 100 inches.

Thank you, Laura, for your program. We enjoyed looking at your board!
