Fire report for week of April 7

On Sunday, April 7, at 6:39 p.m. the chief was dispatched to an apartment on McCrary Circle for a gas leak. The gas company was notified.

On Tuesday, April 9, at 4:14 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a grass fire on S. Jackson caused by a downed power line. Two trucks and 11 firefighters responded.

On Thursday, April 11, at 9:22 p.m. the chief was dispatched to investigate a debris fire on W. Lafayette.

On Friday, April 12, at 5:48 a.m. the fire departmet was dispatched to a three vehicle accident at US 54 Hwy. and DD Hwy. at Cedar Springs. Three trucks and 19 firefighters responded.
