The Land-O-Lakes jackpot show for market hogs and market lambs will be held Saturday, May 26, at the Youth Fairgrounds located 1 3⁄4 mile south of Hwy. 54 on Hwy. 32, then 1⁄2 mile east.

Hogs will show first. It is open to any youth 21 and under. There will be a local class for Cedar and St. Clair County residents only.

Weigh-in for both species will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Scales and books will close at 6 p.m. No late entries. The show will start at 7 pm.

The entry fee is $15, stall fee $10 (refundable) and $5 showmanship.

Champion will receive $100 and a belt buckle. Reserve champ will receive $50 and a belt buckle. Senior and junior showmanship winner will receive belt buckles.

No health papers required. A veterinarian will inspect animals as they are unloaded. Sick animals will not be allowed in the show and will leave the premises immediately.

Absolutely no shearing of animals while on the premises.
