
OPENING CEREMONIES – The “Party in the Park” Relay for Life event on Friday, June 1, opened with a traditional walk through the Park and out onto West Spring Street. They entered the Park again at the northeast entrance and continued down to the Sunderwirth Bandstand.

LOVED ONES’ STORY – Kate and Maddie Sibley told the story of their lives as the children of a cancer patient and survivor.

RELAY ROYALTY - Princess Lanie Dody and Prince Cooper Brown were recognized at the Relay for selling luminaries. Each sold over 100.

SURVIVORS WALK - Cancer survivors also had their time to make a statement about living with and beating the disease.

LIGHT THE WAY – The lighting of the luminaries to commemorate cancer victims is a traditional part of the evening.
