An investigation by the Cedar County Sheriff’s office led to the recovery of property that was stolen in a residential burglary in Stockton.

According to Sheriff David Starbuck, a home in the south part of Stockton was broken into and numerous items were stolen. Most of the stolen items have been recovered and several suspects are facing charges of burglary, stealing and property damage.

Sheriff Starbuck says that the case was cleared as a result of information that was obtained by investigators from neighbors. Starbuck says that the investigators contacted neighbors who reported seeing a suspicious vehicle at the residence.

Subsequent follow-up by the Sheriff’s office led to the identification of suspects and recovery of numerous stolen items from three locations around Stockton.

Names of the suspects have not been released pending the filing of charges.
