Without spending a penny of taxpayer money, the El Dorado Springs R-II School hopes to replace the football and volleyball/basketball scoreboards by the start of this year.

High School Principal Dave Hedrick made the presentation to the School Board at the June 21 meeting telling the board the scoreboards would be paid for by business sponsorships. Each sponsorship requires a commitment of $3,000 per year for five years. There are only five sponsorships available.

The package includes one 3’ x 5” sign on the main football display and one 2’ x 3’ 2” sign on the main basketball display.

The digital content includes two 15 second pre-game static logos per event; six 15 second in-game static logos per event; one 15 second post-game static logo per event; one feature entitlement and one pre-produced commercial up to 30 seconds provided by the advertiser.

Each sponsor gets four season passes and one game day sponsorship.

Ads will be seen during football games, track events and graduation as well as the 15 – 25 basketball and volleyball games each year.
