Charles Nass announced that the administrative offices on the Walker campus of NEVC will be named the Freda Flint Administrative offices with this sign over the door. Ms. Flint served as the school board secretary and bookkeeper since 1983. She retired June 29, 2012, with 37 years of service to the people of the Schell City and Walker communities.

CHANGING OF THE GUARD AT NEVC – Freda Flint, who served as school board secretary and bookkeeper since 1983, retired June 29. Alberta Hays has been hired as the new school board secretary and bookkeeper for Northeast Vernon County R-1.
