To better understand why the decision about the recall petition was made in the way that it was: The constitutions of the United States and the State of Missouri allow for election laws and regulations, making it easy for a person to file and run for an office where his fellow citizens can choose or reject him at the polls. These same constitutions also make it very hard to undo an election by having very stringent rules governing recalls. These rules were not met by the recall petition.
