Rozella Gammon visited her sister, Bonnie Short, in Nevada Friday, July 27.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and Connie Locke visited John and Frances Lewis Thursday, July 26.

Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, July 29 were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien and Ruth Ijams.

A graveside memorial service will be held Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. at the Green Mound Cemetery at Harwood for Josephine True. She was married to the late George True. She lived in Texas at the time of her death. She was the late Pearl True’s daughter-in-law. Pearl was postmaster at Harwood for many years.

Pastor Teayarden of Osceola brought a group from Camp Jersey to put on a program at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday July 29. Pastor Cliff Bennett is on a mission trip to Peru.

Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, July 29. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon was taken from II Samuel 11:1-15, Ephesians 3:14-21 and John 6: 1-21. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Jehoshaphat Makes Judicial Reforms” taken from II Chronicles 19:4-11.
