Buffalo captures lead early to defeat El Dorado Springs Bulldogs.

  El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 5-1 loss to Buffalo on Thursday. Buffalo scored on a single by Cobb and a walk by Rice in the second inning.

  Buffalo captured the lead in the second inning. With zero outs in the second inning Cobb drove in one run when she singled.

  Gillispie earned the win for Buffalo. She went seven innings, surrendering one run, five hits, striking out five, and walking one. Alyson Snodgrass took the loss for El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity. She threw six innings, allowing five runs, and five hits.

  Peyton Babcock went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity in hits.

  Buffalo stole 10 bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Rice led the way with three. Buffalo didn’t commit a single error in the field. Rice had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
