SHOWING OFF – With hoods and trunks raised, cars belonging to various participants at the American Iron Car show on Main Street in Downtown El Dorado Springs, looked exceptionally well dressed in the bright fall weather. The show sported 131 vehicles and raised $1,000 for High Hopes. Judging was done by Fast Edddy’s. Specialty Awards were Fire Chief and High Hopes Choice went to Everett Fields for his 1925 Dodge Brothers Pickup. Ladies Choice went Branda Stuart for her 1967 Toyota Stout. Best Engine went to Jeff Coleman for his 1965 Ford F100. Best Under Carriage went to Jack Barnes for his 1929 Ford 2 Door Sedan. Best Interior went to Jim Stuart for his 1992 Toyota Mini Truck. Best Under Construction went to Tara and Jeremy Henderson for their 1990 Chevrolet S10. Best Paint went to Bill and Erma Curtsinger for their 1937 Chevy 4 Door Street Rod. Rowdiest Rat Rod went to Mike Steward for his 1930 Chevy Wrecker and Best Of Show went to Budd Estes for his 1957 Chevy Bel Aire.
