Buffalo Chargers 4-H hold September meeting

The Buffalo Chargers 4-H club met at the Land O Lakes Fairgrounds at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10. The meal was sandwich night followed by the meeting.

Call to order by President Grace, the meeting began with prayer led by Sarah. Pledges were made by Peyton and Grace. Roll call was taken by Sarah. Kelsey gave the treasurer’s report that the club had $314.96.

New business includes a motion to switch banks for the club treasury. Kelsey motioned that they go to Heritage and was seconded by Lindsay. The motion was passed.

Grace read the club goals for the new 4-H year and a motion was made to approve them. Motion passed.

October meeting is to be held at Church of the Nazarene pavilion for a cookout and time of fellowship.

The election of new officers was chosen and will take over in office next meeting: President: -Lindsay,Vice President – Grace, Secretary – Kendra, Treasurer – Kelsey, Reporter – Sarah, Photographers – Krayson and Rebekah, Game Leaders – Blaze and James.

James gave a demonstration on fishing. He told about casting, safety and other things on the subject of the sport. He showed the club photos of the fish he caught.
