The J.V. Bulldogs traveled Monday evening, Sept. 10, to Higginsville to face the Huskers. The J.V. Bulldogs lost 50-28.

Leading the way in scoring was Lance Molz with three rushing touchdowns and one by Jacob Studer. Cody Long scored twice on the two extra point tries.

“Over all, the offense is improving every week and getting better as one unit,” said Coach Taylor Rainey.

On defense the dogs were led by Justice Hall and Teddie

Zimmerman with eight solo tackles. Jacob Studer had an interception.

“I was really pleased with the effort by the boys in this game. We still have a defensive unit that needs to fix the little mistakes that will help this team,” said Coach Brian Koehler.

The J.V. Dogs are 1-2 on the season and will be on the road again against the Clinton Cardinals next Monday.
