Brother Woody Wilkinson of Ozark Christian College will be the evangelist at Roscoe Christian Church’s upcoming revival. The four-day, five-service event is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 7 through Wednesday, Oct.10.
Sunday will begin with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and a worship service at 10:30 a.m. A potluck dinner will follow in the church basement. Sunday evening’s service will begin at 6 p.m. with special music offered by Kent and Phyllis Bourland of Lowry City prior to Brother Wilkinson’s sermon.
Weeknight services will begin at 7 p.m. and each worship service will open with special music. Jim and Marti Suiter of Wheatland will perform Monday, Oct. 8. Jesse and Joann Evans of Roscoe will sing Tuesday, Oct. 9. Bob Cooke and Friends of Lowry City will provide music on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
Brother Wilkinson has been a professor at Ozark Christian College for 20 years. He teaches several different classes dealing with the Old and New Testaments and Philosophy. Wilkinson has a Bachelor’s Degree from what was then called Ozark Bible College and a Masters of Divinity Degree from Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, IL.
Brother Wilkinson has been married for 47 years and has five children and 14 grandchildren. He has been an evangelist at several past revival services in this area.
