Boot Scootn’ Gals, El Dorado Springs, attended a PJ Slumber Party hosted by Royal Court MOKA at Precious Moments Hotel in Carthage Wednesday night, Sept. 13. Besides the fellowship and snacks there were drawings, prizes and skits. Our group skit was called “Channel Changers.” Nellie Myrick was the story book lady, Judy Knight as the recipe lady, Beryl Stinson the Boy Scout promoter and Nina Plaskett the football play-by-play announcer. Marie Barlow announced our group and also was “the gangster” in the skit. Nina (as a mischievous little girl) gave a spider riddle, her take off of The Itsy Bitsy Spider song and Little Miss Muffet. Then we closed our part with a take-off of Side By Side.

The snacks were delicious and our thanks go to the new friends we made. The group retired to rest and the next morning we enjoyed visiting and a very nice breakfast. Loading our cars, we bid our good-byes and did some shopping before heading home.
