Oct. 1 – Officer responded to a reported burglary, motor vehicle theft and larceny at 1501 South First, El Dorado Springs Special Road District. Investigation revealed the theft of the following items believed to have been taken sometime between 3 p.m. on Sept. 28 to the report date of Oct.r 1: A 1993, dark blue and gray, Dodge Ram 250, pick-up truck, a white, Delta Magnum, side mount truck tool box, a B&B 55 gallon sprayer, a North Start, 3500 PSI, Power washer with a Honda motor, an orange and white, STIHL 14” bar chainsaw, an orange and white, STIHL straight shaft weed eater, a gray, Hobart welder with mix gas bottle, a Victory cutting torch set with bottles, a NIKON auto level transit, a set of 1/4” drive sockets, a set of 3/8” drive sockets, a set of 1/2” drive sockets, a set of 3/8” drive metric sockets, a set of 3/4” drive sockets, a set of ratcheting combination wrenches, a 16-pc set of metric combination wrenches, a set of open and box end wrenches, a 12-pc set of chisels and punches, two sets of SAE and metric allen wrenches, two hacksaws, three pipe wrenches, 3 crescent wrenches, eight pairs of pliers and channel locks, miscellaneous screw drivers and pry bars, several rakes and shovels, a Red Dragon propane weed burner torch with a 20# bottle, 300 gallons of diesel fuel, a red, 5 drawer, roll around tool box, a set of 3/8” drive star bits, a set of 3/8” drive allen bits sockets, a set of five, various size, channel lock pliers, a black pair of 50’ Lincoln welder leads, a 7-pc set of ratcheting wrenches, two sets of easy outs, a pair of 14” bolt cutters, assorted snap ring pliers, a pair of heavy duty jumper cables, two log chains, six cones and three warning signs (from vehicle), two claw hammers and two, 3# hammers, a 12’ level, a 200’ cloth tape measure, a 25’ tape measure, a pitch fork, two scoop shovels, a yellow revolving warning light, a receiver hitch with a 2” ball, a 40-pc tap and die set, a blue, 20 gallon, and a Campbell Hausfeld electric air compressor on wheels with locked motor. Officers responded to a reported assault at 107 West Broadway. Suspect has been identified. Investigation continuing.
Officers responded 511 South Main concerning a report disturbance. The following suspects were identified and issued summonses for peace disturbance, Toni A. Herndon, 38, and Gladys A. Cassidy, 41, both of El Dorado Springs.
Officer responded to a reported larceny (pocket picking) at 213 East US 54 Hwy. Investigation revealed the theft of a black wallet and contents, including approximately $300 in cash. The wallet was later recovered in the alley east of Ehler’s Variety, however, all cash that was in the wallet was gone. Investigation continuing.
Officer responded to a reported larceny (shoplifting) at 1305 South Missouri 32 Hwy, Woods Supermarket. Investigation revealed the theft of a bottle of alcohol, reportedly taken by a white male subject. Investigation continuing.
Oct. 2 – Officer responded to a reported forgery and larceny at 312 West US 54 Hwy. Investigation revealed the theft of five personal checks from a closed account that were written to various businesses in El Dorado Springs. Investigation continuing.
Arrest: Landon J. Daniel, 24, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of no operator’s license with a cash only bond of $430. He was released to the Vernon County Sheriff’s office pending bond and ourt appearance.
Officers responded to a reported assault at 1301 East Industrial Parkway, Southwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center. Suspect has been identified. Investigation continuing.
Oct. 3 – Arrest: Travis E. Giesing, 32, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of peace disturbance with a cash or surety bond of $193.50. He was released on his own recognizance pending court appearance.
Oct. 4 – Officer responded to a reported larceny at 200 West McCrary Circle, Apt. 22. Investigation revealed the theft of prescription medications. Investigation continuing.
Oct. 6 – Arrests: Kathleen E. West, 55, El Dorado Springs, charging her with DWI with a cash or surety bond of $500. She was released on bond pending court appearance.
Sadonna M. Deeser, 27, El Dorado Springs, on an active Vernon County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of fraud-insufficient funds with a cash only bond of $400. She was released on bond pending court appearance.
