Suzan Koski, 72, Stotesbury (formerly of El Dorado Springs), was born June 6, 1945, in Chillicothe the daughter of Wilford and Mable (Williams) Anderson. She departed this life on Dec. 28, 2017 at St. Luke’s East in Lee’s Summit after a strong battle with lung cancer.

Sue, a loving mother and compassionate friend, was a woman of many trades. She spent her days as caretaker and a sign maker’s assistant to her husband.

Sue loved her family. More recently she enjoyed spending her retirement with her children and grandchildren.

Suzan, or as many know her, Sue, was a loving and sincere mother who will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Though she was a quiet and reserved individual, once one got to know her, she was one to be remembered. Her vibrant spirit would keep you on your toes and keep you guessing what would come next. She was like a mother to many of her own children’s friends. She loved nature and was passionate about anything her children or grandchildren did. She spent her recent days enjoying gardening with her grandchildren, and her grandchildren’s many extracurricular activities. She was the most doting fan of the athletics her grandchildren participated in.

Suzan was preceded in death by her late husband of 30 years, Edward Koski; her parents, Wilford and Mable Anderson; nine brothers and nine sisters recently discovered including her sister, Vicki Cantrell, of Calico Rock, AR, who joined Sue in heaven on the very same day.
