CEDAR COUNTY COMMISSION

The Cedar County Commission met October 28, 2019. Present were: Marlon Collins, Presiding Commissioner; Don Boultinghouse, Northern Commissioner; Robert Foster, Southern Commissioner; Kendra Householder, Deputy Clerk(morning); Heather York, County Clerk(afternoon)

Approved Commission Minutes for October 21, 2019.

Met with Chad Pyle, Assessor

Requests to process court order 24828-24843, to add-on the assessed valuation of newly purchased personal property.  Signed MO quarterly reimbursement report.

Met with Sheriff James McCrary

Weekly Report of Inmate Housing: Out of County – 50, Cedar – 13 = 63

Sheriff submitted a revised contract for Police Services for the City of Stockton.  Commission reviewed and approved the revised contract by Sheriff McCrary. Sheriff McCrary will attend and present the contract on 11/04/19 meeting at Stockton City Hall.

Larry Kelly, Poor Boy Tree Service, stopped in to discuss right of way maintenance he has done.

Byron Hamilton stopped in to request ditch pulling.

Sandy Kicker stopped in to discuss Koncord Special Road District and the 2019 FEMA status.

Met with Rusty Norval from Cedar County Ambulance Board, dropped off and discussed dispatch contract.  Budgeted $1,000 per year for training.

Received report of road concern on CR1450 off of 32 HWY.

Met with DJ Ford, Road & Bridge Supervisor

Discussed CR1450 off of 32 HWY, culvert cleanout at CR450, intersection of CR350 and CR1000, CR1001, CR800 east of 32 HWY, and status of Myers Bridge project.   

Commission reviewed annual contribution election for CERF retirement program.  Boultinghouse motion to continue 4% contribution for 2020, Foster seconded.  Collins – Yes, Foster – Yes, Boultinghouse – Yes.

Commission reviewed letter and contract submitted by the CART cost share program with Missouri Department of Conservation.  Boultinghouse motion to approve for 2019-2020 CART agreement, Foster seconded.  Collins – Yes, Foster – Yes, Boultinghouse – Yes.

Commission reviewed dispatch training tuition assistance agreement between Cedar County Ambulance and Cedar County Sheriff’s Office.  Foster motion to approve agreement for dispatch tuition assistance, second by Boultinghouse.  Collins – Yes, Boultinghouse – Yes, Foster – Yes.

Commission reviewed Chief Elected Officials Consortium Agreement for West Central Workforce Development Board.  Foster motion to approve renewal of agreement, Boultinghouse seconded.  Collins – Yes, Boultinghouse – Yes, Foster – Yes.

Commission reviewed monthly report for Sheriff’s Revolving Fund, and CCMH board minutes.

Bills and payroll were approved.
