In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On July 16, 2018, officers responded to 1109 South Jackson, Lion’s Club, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of copper wiring. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 17, 2018, officers arrested Wendi A. Kite, 40, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear. She was released after a court appearance.

On July 17, 2018, officers arrested William E. Soban, 33, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Dog at Large with a $276.50 bond.  He was transferred to Vernon County Jail pending bond and at court appearance.

On July 18, 2018, officers responded to 100 East US 54 Highway, Casey’s General Store, concerning a report larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of gasoline. The investigation resulted in the arrested Brian K. Snethen, 43, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with stealing. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On July 19, 2018, officers responded to 300 East Gentry concerning a reported assault. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 19, 2018, officers arrested Donald L. Barker, 53, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of stealing with a $201.01 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance

On July 20, 2018, officers arrested Dustin D. Taylor, 42, of Sheldon, for an active Dade County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Pay or Appear on the original charge of Possession of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid of 10 grams or less. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

On July 20, 2018, officers arrested Lendia S. Dipman, 38, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear per Court Order on the original charge of Driving While Revoked, with a bond of $526.60. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On July 21, 2018, officers responded to 711 West Marshall Street concerning a reported larceny.  The investigation revealed the theft of a lawn mower deck and a 29 inch Mongoose bicycle with a motor. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 22, 2018, officers arrested Jesse M. Hill, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of assault with a 506.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On July 22, 2018, officers responded to 219 W. Joe Davis concerning a stolen vehicle.  The investigation revealed the theft of a black and gold 1996 Honda Motorcycle. A report taken and the investigation continues

On July 22, 2018, officers responded to 1013 South Park concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of large central air conditioning unit and two blue totes of Christmas decorations.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 22, 2018, officers responded to 400 South Grand concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a metal gas can. A report taken and the investigation continues.
