In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On September 24, 2018, officers responded to 219 West Twyman concerning a reported burglary.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 24, 2018, officers responded to 115 North Main Street concerning a report of larceny from a vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a phone charger and a 12 volt fan. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 25, 2018, officers responded to the area of 301 E. Gentry on a report of a suspicious vehicle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Brandee G. Lawson, 41, of El Dorado Springs, for a Henry County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of No Valid License, with a $377.00 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On September 25, 2018, officers responded to 404 S. Ohio Street, concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tyee A. Mahurn, 17, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Third Degree Domestic Assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On September 26, 2018, officers arrested Roni R. Scott, 33, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging her with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with a $5,000.00 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On September 27, 2018, officers responded to 323 W. Hickory Street concerning a reported assault.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of Darrel E. Bartkoski, 25, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Third Degree Domestic Assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On September 28, 2018, officers arrested Bradly R. Busick, 32, of Jerico Springs, for a Newton County Warrant, charging him with Probation Violation on the original charge of Burglary, with a $500.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On September 29, 2018, officers responded to 410 E US 54 Highway on a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a small, brown, ladies purse, a debit card, an EBT Card, and a wallet. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 30, 2018, officers arrested John D. Taylor, 39, of El Dorado Springs, of a Vernon County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Non-Support, with a $1,000.00 bond.  He was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.
