In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On October 11, 2018, officers responded to 1408 South Missouri 32 Highway concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle.  The investigation revealed the theft of a white tailgate belonging to a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck.

On October 11, 2018, officers responded to 312 W. US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). The investigation resulted in the arrest of Catherine M. McGraw, 25, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with Stealing/Shoplifting. She was released on summons pending a court appearance. A second suspect has been identified and the investigation is continuing.

On October 13, 2018, officers arrested Douglas W. Bradler, 26, of El Dorado Springs, on an active Johnson County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Harassment, 2nd Degree, with a $500.00 cash bond.  He was released on recognizance pending a court appearance.

On October 14, 2018, officers arrested Avalon J. Highlander, 18, of Springfield, MO, charging her with Driving While Suspended. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On October 14, 2018, officers responded to 705 South Main Street concerning a reported larceny.  The investigation revealed the theft of a pink, 20” NEXT bicycle. A report was taken and the investigation is continuing

On October 14, 2018, officers responded to 1003 South Main Street concerning a reported domestic disturbance. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.
