In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On October 15, 2018, officers responded to 1603 South Ely Drive concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle.  The investigation revealed the theft of a black, Ruger, SR22, .22 caliber, semi automatic handgun, a brown, cowhide print, purse, and a brown, Michael Kors wallet, with all of its contents. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 15, 2018, officers arrested John W. Silvola, 50, of El Dorado Springs, a Vernon County Warrant, charging him with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, with a $7,500.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On October 15, 2018, officers responded to 410 South Summer concerning a delayed report of a larceny, that occurred in August 2018, at 500 East Fields, Lot 2.  The investigation revealed the theft of a black, 32”, Element Television and a black, Colby MP3 Player.  A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 18, 2018, officers responded to 601 E. Patricia concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle.  The investigation revealed the theft of a six packs of Cheyenne, 100S, Silver Cigarettes. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October19, 2018, officers arrested Amanda S. King, 33, of Nevada, Missouri, charging her with Driving While Suspended. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On October 19, 2018, officers responded to 120 West Fields Street concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed force entry was made.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 19, 2018, officers arrested Jessica D. Beard, 27, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear, on the original charges of Driving While Suspended and Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance, with a $451.50 bond.  She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On October 19, 2018, officers arrested Roni R. Scott, 33, of Nevada, Missouri, for a Probation and Parole Warrant, charging her with Probation Violation, on the original charges of Voluntary Manslaughter, Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana, and Absconding from Supervision, with no bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On October 20, 2018, officers responded to 500 E. Fields, Lot 31, concerning a delayed report of a larceny. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 21, 2018, officers responded to 410 S. Summer concerning a reported trespassing disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Daniel G. Hunt, 54, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Trespassing, Property Damage, Peace Disturbance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On October 21, 2019, officers responded to 308 N. Grand concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black and yellow Dewalt drill, including two batteries for the drill, a small, brown, wooden hammer, and a black pry bar. A report taken and the investigation continues.
