In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On December 26, 2018, officers arrested Jacob J. Patalsky, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for Newton County Warrants charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended, with a $500.00 cash bond, and, on the original charge of Exceeding the Posted Speed Limit, with a $500.00 cash bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On December 27, 2018, officers arrested Melisha D. Page, 36, of El Dorado Springs for an active Probation and Parole Warrant charging her with Parole Violation-Parole Absconder, on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, with no bond. She was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On December 27, 2918, officers arrested Paul D. Coleman, 48, of El Dorado Springs, a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Manufacturing a Controlled substance, with no bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On December 29, 2018, officers responded to 216 West Olive in reference to a check well being and possible Domestic Assault.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 30, 2018, officers responded to 115 West Marshall concerning a reported Domestic Disturbance.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of Damien L. Harder, 22, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Fugitive from Out of State and Domestic Assault Fourth Degree. Officers completed a probable cause statement concerning these charges.

On December 31, 2018, officers responded to 135 West Spring Street, Cedar County Adult Recovery Court, to take a person into custody per court order. Officers took custody of Teri L. Olson, 47, of El Dorado Springs, per Judge’s order. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail.

On January 1, 2019, officers arrested Ronald S. Huff, 18, charging him with Minor in Possession of Alcoholic Beverage (Internal Possession). He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On January 1, 2019, officers responded to 426 West Martin concerning a reported domestic assault in progress. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Anthony R. Penington, II, 29, for the probable cause of domestic assault and property damage.  Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. He was released pending warrant.

On January 2, 2019, officers arrested Vincent R. Mansell, Jr., 37, for an El Dorado Springs, Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Utility Tampering, with a $225.50 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On January 2, 2019, officers responded to 204 S. Jackson, Apartment 3, concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 3, 2019, officers responded to 801 E. Gentry concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. The investigation revealed the theft of a black, 5’X7’, Carry-On Trailer. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On January 3, 2019, officers responded to 1408 S. Missouri 32 Highway, Woody Motors, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of Missouri Dealer Tag/License of D8935 taken off of a 2001, Dodge flatbed truck. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On January 3, 2019, officers arrested Tyler M. Wilkins, 27, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Driving While Intoxicated, with a $407.00 bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On January 4, 2019, officers arrested Earl C. May, 60, for an active Cedar County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Tampering, with a $200.00 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On January 4, 2019, officers arrested Anthony R. Penington, II, 29, for a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Third Degree Domestic Assault and Second Degree Property Damage, with a $15,000.00 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance

On January 5, 2019, officers responded to 1410 South Missouri 32 Highway. Gammon’s Car Wash, concerning a report of property damage. The investigation revealed damage to the coin safes by tampering with the key ways of the locking mechanism. A report taken and investigation continues.

On January 5, 2019, officers responded to 105 South Forest concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 5, 2019, officers responded to 300 E. Gentry concerning a motor vehicle theft. The investigation revealed the theft of silver, 2004, Buick Regal passenger car with damage to the right, rear quarter panel.  On January 6, 2019, the vehicle was located and recovered. Suspects have been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 5, 2019, officers responded to 400 E. Hospital Road, Community Springs Nursing Home, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of an aqua colored wallet with an owl on it and a set of car keys. Suspects have been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 722 N. Jackson concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a maroon checkbook, which was later recovered. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 609 S. Main concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a Deweze Wireless Controller and Master Mechanic Stud Finder, which were later recovered. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 601 S. Grand concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a leather pouch of Craftsman tools, a camouflage bag with some horseshoes in it, and a black case containing numerous CD’s. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 311 N. Kirkpatrick concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a set of keys with an attached Woods Card, which was later recovered. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 601 S. Main concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a set of speakers, which were later recovered. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 200 W. McCrary Circle, Apartment 20, concerning a reported domestic disturbance. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 215 W. Fields concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a Norelco razor in its pouch and a plastic bag with fuses and papers in it, all of which were later recovered. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 1405 S. Jackson concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a large purse with elephants, a child support card, a smaller navy blue purse, a Mid-Missouri Bank check book containing an unknown amount of checks, an 8” tactical knife with compass in the handle, a black wallet, a phone charging cord, an FM adaptor, driver’s license, two $2.00 bills, and a large Green army green duffel bag. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2019, officers responded to 203 W. Freeman concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of an older model TomTom GPS. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 6, 2018 officers responded to 301 S. Belisle concerning a motor vehicle an attempted larceny from a motor vehicle.  The investigation revealed the vehicle was found with its doors standing open.  A report was taken and the investigation continues.
