On January 14, 2019, officers arrested Sage M. Vandyke, 34, of Nevada, MO, for a Vernon County Felony Warrant charging him with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, with a $2,500.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On January 14, 2019, officers responded to 305 S Main concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of two Missouri License Plates, numbers 32K8MM and 33K1MM, taken from trailers parked at the location. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On January 15, 2019, officers arrested Joseph G. McMannis, 39, of Mt. Vernon, MO, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with a $225.50 bond, and El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charges of Displaying the Wrong License Plates, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, and No Operator’s License, with a $402.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On January 15, 2019, officers arrested John J. Cox, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear for a traffic offense, with a $150.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On January 15, 2019, officers responded to 107 West Lafayette concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jacob J. Patalsky, 37, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Assault-Third Degree. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On January 16, 2019, officers responded to 600 South Kirkpatrick concerning an attempted larceny and property damage. Suspects have been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On January 18, 2019, officers responded to 105 S. Grand concerning a reported burglary, which occurred between the hours of 7:00 a.m. on January 15, 2019, to 7:00 a.m. on January 17, 2019. The investigation revealed the theft of yellow romex wiring, a gray, 40 gallon electric water heater, a miter table saw, a bag of electric outlets, switches, and covers, faucets to a bath tub, bathroom sink, and kitchen sink, two light fixtures, a bag of fasteners for water lines, a brown, gas heater, and miscellaneous tools including a drill, jig saw, shovels, rake, and electric stapler. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On January 19, 2019, officers responded to 921 S. Park Street, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of three orange extension cords used for School Buses. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On January 20, 2019, officers responded to 121 W. Pine concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.
