In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On March 4, 2019, officers responded to 120 West Broadway concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed that forced entry was made into a garage and the following items were stolen, a red and black Honda, TRX400 ATV, a black 19CC, AGM, Gravely lawn mower battery, and miscellaneous tools. The ATV and lawn mower battery were later recovered and returned to the owner. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 5, 2019, officers responded to 500 South Main concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a small, black DMX digital camera. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 5, 2019, officers responded to 500 East Fields, Lot 30, concerning the reported theft of city utilities. The investigation revealed the theft of City Electric Service. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 6, 2019, officers responded to 500 East Fields, Lot 10, concerning a reported burglary. The investigation resulted in the arrest of John R. Fisher, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for the Probable Cause of Burglary and Stealing. Officers completed a Probable Cause Statement for these charges. On March 7, 2019, officers received a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Stealing and Burglary-2nd Degree, with a bond of $15,000.00. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On March 7, 2019, officers responded to 601 East Joe Davis concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed that force entry was made into the residence and the following items were stolen,  two, eight week old Pit Bull puppies, and a small black safe containing $700.00 in cash, a Social Security Card, and a Birth Certificate. The Pit Bull puppies were later recovered and returned to the owner. Juvenile suspects have been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On March 7, 2019, officers responded to 410 South Ohio concerning a reported larceny. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 8, 2019, officers arrested Alicia D. Janes, 41, of El Dorado Springs charging her with Driving While Revoked. She was released on summons pending a court appearance

On March 9, 2019, officers arrested Jacob J. Patalsky, 37, of El Dorado Springs for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Trespassing-2nd Degree, with a $1,957.00 bond. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On March 9, 2019, officers arrested Kyle C. Hendrix, 24, of El Dorado Springs,  for a Vernon County Felony Warrant charging him with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid, and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, with a $10,000.00 cash bond. He was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.
