In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On October 21, 2019, officers responded to 500 East Fields #17, concerning a reported Arson. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Kyle D. Newton, 32, of Appleton City, charging him with Arson First Degree and Property Damage. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Arson First Degree with a $15,000.00 bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On October 21, 2019, officers assisted Cedar County Deputies concerning search warrant service at 805 South Jackson Street. The search warrant resulted in the arrest of Cody A. Boultinghouse, 29, and Melinda G. Goth, 42, of El Dorado Springs, charging them with Possession of Paraphernalia. Boultinghouse was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending a warrant for additional charges. Goth was released on summons pending a court appearance. Additional charges are expected in this case.

On October 22, 2019, officers responded to1207 South First Street, concerning a reported Larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a stove and a refrigerator. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is continuing.

On October 23, 2019, officers responded to 605 South Park concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of an Iron Wheel. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 24, 2019, officers responded to 112 West Hightower concerning a report of a stolen vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a 2007 Pontiac G6 passenger car. Officers later recovered the vehicle. A suspect has been identified and the investigation continues.

On October 25, 2019, officers arrested Shelby M. Wilson, 22, of El Dorado Springs, on a Cedar County Warrant charging her with Burglary 1st Degree, Stealing and Fraudulent Use of a Credit/Debit Device, with a $15,000.00 bond. She was transported to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On October 25, 2019, officers arrested Patrick L. Decker, 30, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Possession of burglar’s tools; Resisting Arrest; 3rd Degree Kidnapping; Stealing; No Operators License, after a pursuit ending in Vernon County. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Felony Resisting Arrest with a $5,000.00 bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On October 26, 2019, officers responded to 410 East US 54 Highway, McDonald’s concerning a report of trespassing. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Kyron L. Stillwell 27, of Odessa, Missouri, charging him with Possession of Paraphernalia. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On October 27, 2019, officers responded to 310 West Spring in reference to a larceny.  The investigation revealed the theft of batteries for power tools. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 27, 2019, officers responded to 114 West Joe Davis concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a DeWalt power circular saw and several hand tools. A report taken and the investigation continues.
